John Cervantes is an acclaimed jazz pianist, composer, and arranger renowned for his sophisticated, swinging style deeply rooted in jazz tradition, yet constantly exploring new musical directions. Influenced by legends such as Oscar Peterson, Kenny Barron, Herbie Hancock, and Chick Corea, John’s performances blend emotional intensity with virtuosic flair, captivating audiences nationwide. A Royal Academy of Music graduate, he has performed at Ronnie Scott’s, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Love Supreme, and London Jazz Festival. He has also been invited to bring his artistry to major national stages, including performing Bernstein’s Riffs in the Finale of the Last Night of the Proms 2025 with the BBC Symphony Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall (broadcast live on BBC One and BBC Radio 3), and contributing as a session keyboardist on both seasons of Disney’s high-profile series Rivals. He performs regularly with Britain’s jazz elite, bringing warmth, passion, and a distinctive lyricism.
