Specialist Jazz Piano Tuition in London & Surrey
Whether you’re preparing for jazz auditions at conservatoires or junior jazz departments, studying music at university, or simply looking to advance your skills as a jazz musician, I offer expert, one-to-one tuition tailored to your goals.
With a Master’s degree in Performance and LRAM teaching qualification from the Royal Academy of Music, I bring deep experience from both the stage and the studio. I’ve performed with some of the UK’s leading jazz artists at iconic venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, Pizza Express Dean Street, and the London Jazz Festival—insights I now bring directly into my teaching.
Having served as an accompanist for jazz auditions at both RAM and Junior Guildhall, I bring valuable insights into the audition process and the expectations at these institutions. One of my former students successfully auditioned and secured a place at Berklee College of Music and Trinity Laban.
Lesson Topics May Include:
- Jazz improvisation and vocabulary
- Harmony and voicing concepts
- Repertoire selection and preparation

- How to practice
I offer one-off consultation-style lessons, packages of lessons with limited duration, as well as ongoing mentorship depending on your needs.
